Their midfield scares the **** out of me to be honest. Can't think of a more effective 3 than Bruno Tonali and Joelinton in the premiership as much as it pains me to say it

Wirtz, Mac Allister, Gravenberch

Zubimendi, Odegaard, Rice

Enzo, Caicedo, Palmer

Rodri, Silva, Reijnders.

Just thought I’d help out and get you started like..

Thanks mate I'm not sleeping again this summer thinking about coming up against all of that

Ha aye. And the worries there’s some absolute ballers could be interchanged into all of those.

That’s where Mags fall short; they only have then 3 of any real calibre.

Only Bruno is getting games in any of those and he’d be off the bench.

I think Joelinton is great for them but would be ‘ok’ for anyone else. They really ****ed yo selling Anderson.

So then…

if Vanat and Bulka are as close as media report.

That’s potentially £83m spent.

I have a feeling with all the recent news we might crack £150m spent by the end of the window

If its before June 30th does that count for last seasons PSR & into July next season?? Think we had decent room left last season as intended to do more than just ELF in January & have since sold Jobe & Watson....so are we reset into July to spend? To a certain extent

We've said in the statements that Enzo offically signs on july 1st so i wouldn't think so

I wonder if we go to more of a 4231 so we have a double pivot, with Diarra as the 10

Maybe but I think Diarra is best on the right of a 3 as opposed to central. Plenty options though.
I’m thinking we end up more of an orthodox 4-3-3 next season I must say. Interested to see if we change things out of possession. Certainly don’t want to see ELF all at sea doing the same role that Rigg did, though, and Diarra helps with that I think.

This is probably controversial, but we might see Cirkin and Hume function as centre backs in a 3, maybe not all the time, but something that RLB will look at.
