This is all I've been thinking since hearing this news and potentially signing Guendouzi...

Few people saying they want RW links as we haven't had any yet. Well, maybe we have the RW deal in place and we're just waiting for Man Utd to seal Mbeumo...

Ah it's nice to dream what seems an almost realistic dream now.
We also could loan a right winger, like Bobb

I know KLD is a Football Manager fan and honestly he’s owned Sunderland and done exactly what I do when I take over Sunderland in league one :D

it’s dreams come true stuff for me this. There were times in the league one days where I genuinely thought I might never see my club in the premier league again.

Diarra for £26.5m as the initial fee, you’d assume the additional that rises is to £30m will be if we stay up.

so worst case scenario and we go down. He’s extremely unlikely to have had such a bad season that we don’t recoup MOST of that. And that’s worst case.

one decent season as a highly rated 22 year old could see us getting bids of £50m+ for him next summer.

this feels like a huge outlay and maybe im just wearing an optimistic hat today but I can’t see how we don’t make our money back, serious injuries permitting

50% addons CL qualification 50% PL title<badger>

Aye, couldn’t agree a fee.

It’s odd how Leeds fans see themselves so far above us. There’s nowt in it.

Leeds a great club, great fans but size and appeal wise, I don’t see a gap.

They have a better current side than us but they probably won’t have by midweek.

Let the clubs around us sleep on us and underrate us just because we were playoff winners.

They overlook that ‘youngest squad’ thing, that means our existing players massively improving, and that’s before we add great talent on top.

I hope the whole league sees us as no threat (although all over socials fans of truly big clubs calling us out as the team that will be a surprise package and do well)
Yeah I’ve just been reading it. The

I still think Amad will be in demand from European qualified teams across the continent. I suppose (if we make contact) it goes down to the lads own personal ambition and would he be willing to join a work in progress.

I don’t think Jobe will ever regret his move to Dortmund. It was clear the plan was to skip the premier league.

But I wonder if Watson is having any regrets just yet? A season of PL2 versus a season at the club you support on a magic carpet ride.
I think he’ll get game time to be fair, we know what he’s capable of just look at the final. We’re expecting our young lads to improve as Jobe did, so in that respect Tommy will improve with better players around him. No doubt in an ideal world he’d prefer to be top half with his childhood team though.
