I just think there's better players in that price bracket for the right now but appreciate Diarra brings us talent that will grow over the next 3/4 years.

This is true however Jobe wasn't in the 1st percentile for tackles made and didn't look as lightweight in duels as diarra did for me.
I'm up for the signing but 20-25 would be more comfortable imo, it's a LOT of money for someone who doesn't add goals to our midfield and might not cope with the premier league.
He did yeah, he just isn't a midfielder who gets shots for himself hence my doubts about him adding goals. Most central midfielders outperform their xG tbh.

We won't be able to get him without overpaying slightly probably. So perhaps we take a risk on overpaying for him knowing that he's of the rare talent that could be a £100m Chelsea signing in 2 years.
