Brilliant if this is the case. I’d still expect us to be canny rather than crazy if you know what I mean. Signings will have to make sense financially, age-wise, high ceiling ability players that we can improve and whose value should increase.

Heard nothing. Just look a side not playing for a coach, and he has hardly done himself favours in the media. The FA dont like confrontation, they like harmony. I like Tuchel but this has been a troubled start, the media may well oust him. Wouldnt be at all surprised to see Southgate back to lead them at the world cup. All just my ravings.

In fairness to Tuchel, he makes no secret about how he works. He had an absurdly timed friendly against Senegal squeezed in, and in truth,, his remarks about players coasting in the other couple of games he has had were near enough the mark. You can't switch it on and off. It is categorically not for players to choose when and when not to put it in.
