Anything Sky actually find out that’s reportable will come from Keith. It’s the way they’re structured.

That really is an astonishing performance. It really hammers home the point of what they were doing though. The calls from some in the fanbase to 'show some ambition' to get out of that league would have been showing up very negatively in these sorts of calcs if they'd been heeded. Back to the Burnley example where they've probably done between a quarter and a third of their transfer budget this summer on players who were brought in to get them out of the champ.
The interesting question now is when (if ever) the club chooses to go 'all in'. It could be said that this is the year to do it, but then that makes next year exponentially more difficult. Perhaps we can continue to subvert the accepted wisdom that you need to spend yourself into oblivion to thrive at this level

Be nice if we get the extra staff in before pre season starts also. Went quiet on the GK coach plus all those posts that were advertised.
I reckon we will sign 9-11 players by the end of the window (4/5 starters, rest would be depth focused)
but I don't think we see any in by the start of pre-season, maybe one

I think we will spend over 50m that's for sure, can't see us breaking 100m as I think we will recruit and get deals done to where it doesn't go up to that figure.
