I am staying calm about Lauriente until a story about the deal more advanced comes about
I believe we will be pleasantly surprised just how much we do spend now and next January.I reckon we will be comfortable spending about £100m
But i'm basing that on nothing but gut instinct. No maths or knowledge involved
He’s scored about 40 goals in his career coming up to the age of 27 and half of them came in Serie B this season. Could be decent but not really the massive upgrade to the starting Xl I’m talking about and realistically he’s probably playing at his best or close enough.
Transfermarkt doesn't know the concept of a wing back so LM is just LWB in a 5
I think LM is a position we massively need to strengthen, I love Mundle but he missed loads last season and it almost cost us.
We need quality additions to the squad and this lad is quality, has the pace and directness you need in the PL
Think we could say we need additions all over, but LW doesn't break into my top 5 though.

I think those are some good stats for a LW and we will be basing the signing off his profile and abilities as well as stats, he's rapid, a good ball carrier and is really good on the counter attack.

Aye, admittedly I don’t know much about him and the signs on social media seem good so i hope I’m wrong and he’s better than I think.. but when I look at players contribution stats I can’t help but think of Roberts and how hopeless he is; yet on paper if you throw in assists he probably doesn’t look as bad as what he has been. We need more goals from our wingers this season.
This is true, although Lauriente was one of the best wingers in serie A at 24 but sticking at a horrible sassuolo team hasn't allowed him to play at his best. I think he's definitely an upgrade.
I don't think we need a top 5 of positions to strengthen, I think the key is strengthen across the whole squad
I think this lad improves us, of course I don't want loads of the budget being spent on 1 player but we don't know what the budget is and the club will know what they need to do
This boy is rapid, he is technically good and his movement is very good - he will improve the squad immediately and that's a good thing for me
