Edit: Looks like Milan, Juve and Roma were all after him in January. He's been on Ghisolfi's radar all season.
I know it's only a highlights reel, but I think we might like enjoy this lad playing for us.

They all get caught sometimes. Rodri was caught a few times in the last Euros. It is inevitable, and when someone is playing that role, the others have to be switched on to the possibility of it happening, because as sure as you like, it will happen sooner or later.
No idea why and it’s a tenuous link but I’m pretty excited by Saba G. He’s exactly the kind of profile I’d want us to sign. Continuous improvement on our existing strategy. Club relegated so likely need to sell so price will be good. With huge upside.

Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are considering summer moves for highly-rated Georgian defender Saba Goglichidze.
The 20-year-old impressed for Empoli in Serie A last season, making 33 appearances and showcasing his strength in duels and aerial battles.
Same! He looks quality. Strong and athletic as well which you'd expect given that he's a target for Forest. Oh and he can play RB so can cover Hume.
Honestly, this guy and Lennon Miller are the signings that represent the progression of the current model and I'd love both of them.

Despite Empoli’s relegation, Saba Goglichidzehas drawn attention from several clubs due to his physical presence and mature defensive displays.
Both Forest and Sunderland are reportedly willing to meet Empoli’s €7–8 million valuation, with the player under contract until June 2027.
While Italian sides Lazio and Roma remain in the mix, the interest from English clubs adds a new dynamic to the transfer race in the 2025 summer transfer window.
Sunderland see him as a potential key figure in their backline, while Forest aim to bolster depth ahead of a long campaign.
Roma were linked with him for 6 months though, which would suggest at least that our new DOF likes him.
I know it’s not everything but the lad also impressed massively in a relegation battle. So he’s got the experience at the end of the table we’re likely to be.

All for that. Really worry about the physicality this coming season to be honest I wouldn’t mind a big ****er of a CB coming in. And another in the middle of the park.
I'm with you on this one. Just go and get him.
At this level you can almost gamble on 3 lads at that price. We need to get the £20m players right, but someone like him we can take a calculated risk on the potential upside.

Really like Saba. Played a lot of games at right back/right centre back in a 3 also, his acceleration for someone that size is crazy.
Big unit of a centre back and obviously had to defend a lot last year. Definitely targeting someone strong in duels this is one I would like with a lot of upside
