Williams and Yamal on either wing for Spain and Barca for the next 10 years is a frightening thought. Wonder where that would leave Raphinha though.

Well, Raphinha is a better player than Neco, but Neco would balance the wingers.

They might see Yamal or Raphinha central.

They need a ****ing striker though. Lewi can’t go forever.

I don’t even think Dani Olmo gets a regular game there does he? Such a waste he’s a cracking player

Think he’s worth the gamble?
I think so, he was talked about as a 80 plus million striker a couple years a go and he is still young. He just needs to be at the right club, a club that develops young talent... sound familiar?? It would come down to cost tho

I'm always biased when it's players I've scouted and loved when I scouted them - he falls into that camp. My concern is other than a good 9/10 months he's been pretty poor but the potential and ability is there

I dunno what it is about him but he feels like a Sunderland player, might be the hat trick I watched him score against the filth mind :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Signing PL players probably won't happen in my opinion.

They're being paid too much to drop down to our level and the clubs would want more that we can pay ...

... I'd guess the majority will come from abroad, even Scotland, where prices are lower and wages affordable.

Also PL players we may sign would expect to be starting whereas 'incomers' would be more patient.

Just my thoughts.
I think there’ll be two premier league loans, possibly with view to permanent but otherwise agree.

Yeah it is a tough one, but I really fear he needs a very good season next year or his head will totally go.

He plays like he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders and although he clearly has the ability to change a season for any premier league team - I think someone in our position needs a player to go into the season full of confidence and thrive off that.

But of course a couple early goals and everything would be sound for him.

Would he get the required game time for us do you think? The worry would be he only gets 20 mins here and there like he did at West Ham and he would struggle from there
