Le Bris is going to have to adapt a bit next season imo. I dont think we can go and play a low or mid block and survive. We will have to mix it up. There are going to be 12 or so home games where targeting 3 points is vital. In those games we will need to be more possession orientated. Counter attacking in the prem will be so much harder to do. Then there are probably 12 away games where we can target something too, where even a point will be a good outcome. A different style will be needed again.

I am really interested to see how he approaches the season tactically. Like our players he is stepping up to a level above what he has known so far. He is against coaches who in many cases have done much more. Like with our young lads I am excited to see how we does and I am quite confident he will thrive.
Well if has shown anything, it is that he is flexible, even in individual games. Here's hoping he steps up nicely.

Personally feel the opposite. All the teams that have went up and gone down all tried the possession game. We already know how to be dangerous without having the ball by playing on the counter. I think trying to go to a possession based system would be suicide imo

Gray is the first link i've taken properly serious. Source is **** I know but it's the first one that really fits what we've been doing under Speakman. Maybe Blake as well.

Knicked this but…

Dutch journalist quoted in this morning's Sunday Times eulogising about Henderson’s impact at Ajax this season.

“Henderson was key to Ajax’s Eredivisie resurgence before they were pipped to to the title by PSV. His best games were against PSV and Feyenoord in the league. He was extremely important in the comeback season of Ajax for his defensive role and his dominance of the ball. His greatest attribute has been his leadership and creating a professional culture”.

No they’re 2 different positions I think that headline is just click bait gray is a 6
Ye, I think it might be not true all together the signing doesn't make loads of sense as I doubt he'd come in to the team immediately and we're developing Triantis in that position

I’d think it’d be good business yes we need first team improvement but we to also keep buying great young talent and I think the only academy that has been more successful than city’s in recent times is Barcelona, gray won their u21 player of the year so id say bring him in if possible

Triantis hasn’t been a 6 in Scotland so why would he be here?

I like what I've seen and know about Gray. City academy players are always at worst competent on the ball, needs to bulk up a bit but has a good engine. Very good at breaking up attacks and recycling the ball. I'm in.

does it not feel more of a championship signing? It does to me but admittedly that’s based on absolutely nothing than his age and his experience

I really like him, only seen him a couple times mind but stood out in those games. Definitely has the potential to be a PL player in the future, not sure he would make an impact immediately but you just never know

He's highly rated at city but they don't hold youngsters back if they want to move on
