Just a few names who fit a criteria, anyone who has strong opinions on these lads? Are they any good? Would you fancy him for us in the Prem?

Schlager would be a statement and exactly what we need.

Hojberg for me is too slow for PL.

Zeghrova is a lovely player and left sided, but I think would be just beyond us. He would be a superb signing and I’ll never rule anything out with Speakman. Fans would take to him.

Posch - Be expensive but can play CB and RB as well as fill in at DM. Very good player and won’t be on daft money at Bologna. Yes from me. 3 signings in one opens up funds elsewhere.

Gudmundsson I mention a bit earlier in the thread. Superb pace and absolute PL physicality, not great defensively but how many full backs are nowadays? Be a massive asset. He isn’t just quick he is like Usain Bolt the lad.

Have to agree, they guy as a beast could have been an iconic player for this club

It’s probably the fact he was up til 3/4 am because of home sickness. couldn’t stick to a diet and had terrible discipline

That and the disastrous loan that he insisted upon.

Always really liked him, don't see him as a replacement for Jobe though. Can play a few positions and technically good, I wouldn't want him on loan tho - would rather a perm deal

I'd see him as a squad player only at PL level at the minute

Stoke fans seemed hugely unimpressed with him. Didn’t look like much from the little I saw either. However Ayari underwhelmed similarly at champ level and went on to make a bit of an impact at pl level last season so I guess you never know.

Moran is decent but very lightweight. Not for me.

This is a crucial point, The teams that really compete in the EPL have tall, athletic, very fast and skilful central midfielders.. We do need that especially if we lose Jobe, with small, lightweight guys, they will get overrun, we need physicality in the squad

Wow didn’t know that. He didn’t do a bad move mind went Lazio, Rome is absolutely full of Albanians, there’s talk that Albanians essentially run the city and there was talk that Lorik was connected to that world.

One of my favourite ever SAFC moments was Lorik smashing someone 20 foot up in the air and him and Catts high 5 as he walked away with his back to the player and ref.

Beautiful.
