You've then got Alese and Huggins who absolutely have prem ability.
I want us to buy appropriately and compete but I’d be gutted if we tore this team apart. Speakman seems to have made that clear, we won’t.

PS I don't think Speakman even knows how many we'll bring in. The market is too unpredictable for that. We don't know how many will leave. We don't know if the type of player you can't say no to might make themselves available.

Just to go back to Keith, the wording on the Henderson part is just flat out bad journalism. Wording it so he can't be called out for being wrong either way.

I reckon 10 total. But 2-3 of those will be youth / squad players in the same kinda style as (better versions of) Hjelde and Aleksic.

If I was going to think now maybe:

And then I think we ideally need to loan out Hjelde and Huggins. Which leaves us diabolically short at full back.
Harrison Jones and Aleksic also need loaning out.
And that’s just from the squad who finished the season. I’m not even thinking about the deadwood like Bennette, Rusyn, Matete etc
and **** knows what we do with Poveda who gets his own category BELOW deadwood

We've known Jobe was going to leave this summer for a year. We just didn't know what league we would be in.
