Insanely raw player, but the kind that eventually will be getting like 15+ g+a in a season. Possibly worth investing now if we think he's good enough, id be hesitant but willing to trust the club if we do go for him.

Tbf if anything I think that the big clubs have been slapped on by his agent to hurry the smaller teams. He's not ready for that level imo.
Leeds and Brentford have both bid. That's more his level.

With young strikers i sometimes look at that as a good thing - are they getting in positions to score or not. With pacey players like Mayenda they often have to learn how to slow themselves down before shooting - this is the area he's come on so much over the last few months

He seems to want to leave Spain anyway so atleti maybe off the cards? Suppose time will tell, we are an easy link to make for journalists now with Jobe money coming in - going to be hard to know what's what.

I feel he could play in a Brentford system under frank, but not in a Leeds system.

Completely agree - not saying we should change to suit him. Just that I can see why our anticipated style of play and league position next season might have played a part in his decision to move.
Just watched a few videos of Uche and he's perfect. Not getting hopes up though as Atletico and established prem clubs want him and whilst we can for sure compete, it just feels like one for the "unlikely" category. And like @FellTop says, we are going to be linked with all and sundry anyway this window. This one does however seem to fit the profile we want and need.
Yeah I hope it is the profile we go for, also wishing I didn't watch anything of him as he looks a player, but I suppose they all do in compilations
