I really dont see Regis rotating players in the league games at all mind. Suspensions and injuries will be about it. I am not sure we will keep players like Neil and Rigg long if they arent starting games. In particular Neil, he shouldnt rotation at this point in his career. He wont be short of suitors if we dont fancy him as a mainstay next season.

Is Amad impossible?

If they having a firesale as reported, why not?

well, anything is possible...

Man u say the whole squad is up for sale,
and those that might be staying have been told they are, the rest... have been told to look for new club

I think what is possible and impossible is down to fees and wages, my guess is that Amad is likely within the realm of possibility, players on 6-figure weekly wages are obviously out of our scope. I could see us paying up to £25m this summer for the right signings. Again, if you think about it this way, Amad is absolutely possible if Man Utd want to deal and the player is keen.

Completely different in PL.

Plymouth battle and kick teams off park, you don’t get that in PL.

Dans ball carrying and composure may well be absolutely tailor made for the PL.

Did you watch us against the mags? I’ve heard a few people mention the PL is less physical than the championship (not on here) and they’re in for a shock. You don’t get anywhere near as much time on the ball as we’ve had this season

Killer might be that new deal he signed at Christmas.

If he’s gone 100k plus; we are out.

I'd rather persist with Neil next season than go anywhere near Henderson. If we want to bring in a holding midfielder there's 100's better than Henderson.

I agree with that, I’d like better than both personally but if we were to bring Henderson in as a squad player I wouldn’t be disappointed. Don’t think he’s as bad as some make out and obviously his impact off the field would be astronomical.

In a completely different way though. Players can adjust to time on the balm same we way can react to change of pace in everyday life.

You can’t even adapt to being booted. This is a very different beast to a one of game in the middle of a **** season.

Back in the top flight of English football, Sunderland wants to hit the transfer market. According to information from 225foot, the club from the north-east of England is targeting Ivory Coast international Amad Diallo to strengthen its attacking sector.

Coming off a great season with Manchester United (11 goals, 9 assists), Amad Diallo has no shortage of courtiers. Among them, Sunderland, a club he knows well having played there in the 2022-2023 season. During this successful loan in the Championship, he scored 14 goals and was one of the great architects of the journey to the play-offs.

This time, the Black Cats are back in the Premier League and want to rely on players already integrated into their environment. Amad's name comes up insistently internally, especially as the player keeps a strong relationship with the club and its supporters. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will agree to sell him permanently or loan him out again.

Under contract until 2030 with the Red Devils, the former Atalanta player does not want to relive a season in the shadows. A discussion is planned between his entourage and the Mancunian leaders in the coming weeks to clarify his situation. AC Milan are also reportedly interested in Amad Diallo.

Amad Diallo: Salary, Stats, Records & More
For Sunderland, he would be a reinforcement of choice: young, explosive, and already familiar with the club, Amad Diallo perfectly embodies the type of profile targeted to ensure survival and energize the attack. A case to be followed closely in the next few weeks of the summer transfer window.

Valued at €40 million by Transfermarkt, Amad Diallo earns a salary of €7,427,567 per year at Manchester United, or 4,827,918,550 CFA.

IT’S HAPPENING

He recently signed a new deal though I think, in the back of his great spell earlier in the season. The numbers will be well beyond us I'd think.

He would be a signing for off the pitch, which i agree he would be class, but he honestly can barely move now on the pitch

It's scary how much he struggles to cover the ground now, we can't have players like that in CM

Henderson biggest strength was his ability to cover the ground and break up play - that's gone now for PL standard

I can't see him wanting to come back to be 5th or 6th choice in CM which is where I'd see him if we got the players I'd want us t9 sign

I'd be astonished. Even if Man Utd wanted him gone he could get into a European challenging team.

Anything is possible but I'd rate that at 0.00001 % chance.

For me him and Fernandes are the best players in their squad and probably the only ones to have consistently performed well this season. Even my 2 Man U mates at work say Amad is their best player. I dread to think how much they will value him at...plus he's reportedly on about £120k a week.

He was on about £25k when we had him on loan, if they bumped him 5x then fair enough that is beyond our scope, my assumption was that he would be in the 50-90 range.
