I think cirkin is going to step up

there was an emotional interview after Saturday where he talks about struggling (mentally I think) and that he wasn’t happy with his performance in the final.

his Instagram post just now reads amazing and it certainly sounds like he isn’t finished here. I love the man and at one point he was the best LB in the league. You don’t lose that. Could tell there were issues going on

he has the tools to step up

can’t neglect the fact that yesterday was massive mentality

harsh to write him off, he needs competition for sure but he’s quick and direct which is good for them prem and when I watch him turn the eye test tells me he’s an athlete, moves like a prem player for me, just needs to click.

I honestly think that's why Jobe and his family see the move now as best for his career.

Playing in a side that is highly likely to struggle next season, not see much of the ball and take a lot of defeats will be seen by his family as not good for his development, confidence etc.

Whereas a team like Dortmund who are on the other end of the spectrum is ideal and will allow him to grow still at a good pace and have players around him who are able to carry him when he's not on it. And for them BVB is tried and true with Jude.

He's been quality for us this year and always gave 100% I'm pleased I was allowed the opportunity to watch him in his early career and look forward to the days when the Bellingham's are bossing the pitch for England.

I agree with everything said, and I don't want him to leave. But at least here, he is guaranteed a start week in, week out. Will he get that at a foreign top club?

What about Chotard at Montpellier?

They’ve gone down, and will be a fire sale. He covers the back 4 but is lovely on the ball and carries it well. Him and Enzo could be pornographic to watch.
Not had his best season but neither has anyone else

was good last year and price depending could be ok addition in fairness. Good protecter his defensive numbers last year were solid

And I mean this truthfully. And I can’t believe I’m saying it considering where he was a year ago. But I’d have absolutely no problem with Mayenda being our main striker. I think his ability to turn and carry the ball at pace and power is going to be key for us getting up the pitch in the premier

Mayenda will cause havoc at any level.

That pace, that power and he went from shooting like he had bananas for trotters to being clinical almost overnight.

PL defenders will be ‘what the ****’. He’s going big time that lad, we need to enjoy the year or 2 we have.

Oi, big man!

He is a lovely player it was a crazy season for them that squad was top half outside Europe, don’t know the politics what went on to see them so spectacularly fail.

Chotard fits the bill of us offering retention be a steal for under 20

I really dont agree mate. But maybe I am an old fart who thinks the modern game is a bit ****e.

How can we love a side as much as we have and then jump to bench most as soon as they get success. It makes playing the game de-motivating. Plus the hardest thing for any coach is to create a team and a squad that is 100% together and committed, not to mention better than the sum of its parts. Signing players is fraught with danger, and the danger spirals as the fees do. If our starting line up next season doesnt have 5 or 6 of the play off team in it I will be a bit ashamed really. And definitely sad.

I dont want us to become like the majority of soulless premier league teams. I would rather we keep giving our best young talent the chance to play. It means the best young talent keep joining our academy. We are onto something special with this group. Personally I would hate to lose the connection with them we have. It has been a long long time since we had a squad and fans as connected as we do now, maybe since Reidy, that was a powerful dynamic that went tits up when we started spending big. Lets not assume we havent got something like that rolling here.
Modern football makes this view very unrealistic sadly otherwise I’d agree with you. But the gap is just way too big unfortunately

We need at least 2 good players in every position. We already have some who can be a part of those 2 good players for every position. I’m not saying replace everyone.

For example i think the starting XI will likely include Patto, Hume, Ballard, Cirkin, Neil, Enzo, Mundle and Mayenda

Personally I don’t have any concerns about Trai and Cirks.

They will get roasted a few times early doors but they will adapt, they will both make it.

I’ll put my favourite ****ing hat on that right now.
All fullbacks get roasted at some point in the PL - ours won't back down or go hiding and that's the important thing

100% mate. And let’s not forget even in the PL sides hate wing backs who bomb on with genuine intent and quality.

We have 2, and 2 that are bought into the club.

Gold mate.

For me -

Patti - be better in PL as more protection for keepers, great shot stopper.

Both wing backs

Big Dan

Little Dan

Even littler Enzo

Big man

Wilssoooooon

All will play a lot of games.

That Vanat’s stats look promising but I’d love to see us look at a more physical type of striker. I’d also like Mayenda to play most of the games for me as his potential is next level

Worth every cent.

Yes he could do more, but he is still massive.

Most assists I believe? Beautiful ball between 2 for the big man Saturday.

I hear all the time he doesn’t bring value, he ****ing does though, doesn’t he?

£2million for what he’s given us is robbery on our part.

Looks like Wolves will lose a few this summer which is good news for us. One of the sides that we’ll be battling for survival with IMO
