Could it also lead to further investment? It has always been the talk in takeover circles that there are those willing to do a deal or put money in at Sunderland but to match Louis-Dreyfus’ terms the club needed to be back in the Premier League. It will be fascinating to see whether anything happens there but the Netflix series Sunderland ‘Til I Die has given them profile in America, even inspiring Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to invest in Wrexham. Let’s just put it this way – their rise would be a welcome new plotline Stateside.

The amount of mags replying on there. It's 90% them sad ****ers!

Read a good few articles on us today. This is one of the benefits if we do get promoted, we'll get a lot more media attention from the nationals and Sky. Keeps us bored at work more entertained over the summer and during the week

Got a promotion in the day job mate so more responsibility and just felt the scouting was taking up too much time. Wee one is more active now so want to spend more time with her.

Will miss the scouting but drf the right decision
Comes to us all mate, life priorities change. Maybe one day you can go back to it.

Good to see you back posting.

Portsmouth announced their retained list last night and confirmed Aouchiche has returned to us. So if they had an option to sign, it appears they haven’t taken it.

Maybe im stupid and I’m getting ahead of myself

we go up, jobe goes anyway. Shift Neil, enzo becomes a perm, midfield 2 of enzo and samed.

New right winger

scenes

Here's a few:
Ollie Tanner, 24, Cardiff
Sonny Perkins, 21, Leyton Orient
Brad Young, 22, Al-Orobah
Ben Doak, 19, Liverpool
Scott Banks, 22, St. Pauli
Kasey McAteer, 23, Leicester
Tyler Goodrham, 23, Oxford
Ross McCausland, 22, Rangers

If we're promoted, with the exception of Doak, we'd probably want higher calibre than these.

amad diallo

Bring him home, he was in the padded seats yesterday

Isn’t samed going to Denmark? Think it’s telling how little minutes he’s had here can’t see him signing perm

I thought Sakamoto on Coventry's right wing looked good over the two games, not sure his status but he would be one I'd be looking at if the price is right and we want good competition for Roberts next season.
Made comments on this the other day

one more contribution than Roberts and over 40 less chances created. We got wowed by a dribbler at the SoL once a season but when you watch them every week you quickly get frustrated

700 less minutes played and his xA per chance created is over double Roberts'. He's streets ahead of Roberts and I don't think Sakamoto is good.

Luca Kjerrumgaard would be an interesting signing for a Championship club.

Striker for Odense Boldklub in the Danish 2nd division. 22, listed as 6ft3 but I'm pretty sure he's taller than that. 19 goals and 5 assists in 26 games this season (2203 minutes).

Obviously the standard is a tricky one to judge but his build, speed, link play, ball striking and finishing are all good. With the current trend of taller, quick strikers (Haaland, Isak, Delap, Ekitike, Emegha just to name a few) I think he could be someone who is playing at a top level in 3 years.

As soon as the final whistle goes, if we win, I'm pretty sure ELF automatically becomes our record signing ever
By 50% aswell if i remember correctly - think ndong was roughly 14m.

I mentioned him in passing about a year ago just when watching their games for Slotsager (since moved to serie A), did finish his first proper superligaen season well and of course with any scandinavian striker if they have played for Stabaek they're usually decent.

I agree totally though, really hard to gauge the level and some of his more intricate passing/hold up could do with work to play at a higher level - but sometimes you have to bring in these really physically gifted players with an eye for goal and try to sharpen the blade so to speak. As far as I know its only really a few Allsvenskan and Superligaen clubs who are interested, most notably Djurgarden.

Haha definitely wouldnt go that far..... but if you can score you can score. Especially the sorts of goals he does score.

For anyone else on the thread heres a pretty quick and easy to digest compilation:
