Aye, we will find out soon enough if RLB has pulled off a blinder and made the most of the last few games. Just a shame that nobody has really taken their chances with the squad rotation.

If anything it shows we would need quite a few reinforcements if we get promoted.

I don't disagree that he's clearly a great manager and would be good here if RLB left. That said, I'd like to see him achieve promotion with a team that doesn't have parachute payments. I think all 3 of his promotions have been with a team that just got relegated.

Still some achievement. But getting promoted with parachute payments always includes an asterisk for me. Even Russell Martin managed that :D

I like Ekwah and there is the potential for an excellent player in there. But his time with us has gone and that's a good fee for him. Hopefully it works out for everyone.

If we don't go up, we've got a big job to replace our midfield as there's every chance we lose 4 of them. I'd expect Triantis, Aleksic, Browne and Jones to be 4 of our central midfield options in that scenario with money spent on 2 core upgrades.

Whatever the plan is we need to make sure the recruitment is focused on ready made players who can add to the squad from day one.

we defo need a few but if we are in the PL you can get a better calibre of young talent who can also add to the team from day one
