Was hoping for a bid in january, really hoping for one now.

Huge summer whatever happens.

If we don't go up I think we need;
2 wingers, 1 for each side
A creative midfielder
2 fullbacks, 1 for each side
2 CBs, a left footed CB and hopefully Mepham

That's before replacing key players who will likely leave.

Anyone who isn't 100% trusted should be removed. Matchday squads are huge now so need at least 20 players that are 100% trusted by RLB and can impact games whenever called upon.

On the midfield aspect - I actually think the balance of our midfield needs re-worked and selling them could provide us a nice opportunity to become more consistent.

With the 2 deeper CMs in Jobe and Neil, the most defensive one is also the most creative and the physical one who isn't really that creative or threatening is more advanced, Rigg will be fantastic but at 17 he doesn't contribute quite enough to be the link between our attack and midfield as he lacks some of the nous that experienced midfielders have around the area.

Would want a physical 6 if Neil left, if Jobe left an 8 who is tenacious but still can chip in with assists and goals (rudoni or knight sort of style) and a 10 with some knowhow to crash into the box and score some goals but also feed isidor/mayenda - I think Rigg could become that if he stayed another year and kept improving but regardless I would want to see someone of that ilk brought in.

I’ve thought for a while our midfield is full of great players but something sometimes seems off

Le Bris has inherited some fantastic midfield players, but 2 are from the academy and not signed for any specific system and the other was signed to make a huge profit. Once we have cashed in I am assuming we will buy players to fit the system he wants to play, like i say Rigg is fantastic and I think better slightly deeper but hes been thrown as what is essentially the second striker all season and flogged half to death - in an ideal world that role chips in with 15+ g/a in the system we play.
