In regards to strikers if Isidor does go etc. The reason many succeed is with a bit of arrogance and selfishness. They want to score, they don't think about passing. Which is why I think Isidor does so well, that goal against Leeds, he didn't look or think for one minute to pass. Just eyes on goal. You need that to be the loan forward imo.

Mayenda I think works better as a second striker or a winger, he's a bit timid, might be age and I don't think he has that ruthless nature infront of goal myself atm. I still think he is good and has a lot of potential though. Ahmed mind on the otherhand seems to have that arrogance, Murty said the other day that Ahmed told him he was going to score a hat-trick and they he was going to be the spearhead of what they wanted to do. He is described as an out and out 9 too so I have high confidence in him once he is involved.

Just a observation i've picked up on, strikers need that arrogance and selfishness to succeed with goals imo

I think, albeit from the little I have seen of him so far, Ahmed looks the real deal , very exciting and way ahead of Trey tbh.

They can keep their hands firmly ****ing off of him...

That said if we don't go up I reckon a few PL clubs might come knocking :emoticon-0107-sweat

I was thinking this after Leeds, if we don't go up clubs will come knocking. He has had a great season overall but right now has been his best fun of form in the team.

Look at his runs, his teammates might not always find him (either not spotting it or not quite making the pass) but he is always looking for that run off the shoulder of the cb's and with his pace, strength and a bit of trickery in his locker you would back him to score most weeks as long as he gets one or two good balls when he makes them runs!

Price starts at £30m

I don't subscribe to the notion that failure to get promoted means we automatically lose all of our good players.
Jobe will most likely go and given what happen in January, I think Watson will too.
After that, not convinced any other will leave, albeit the Cirkin and Neil contracts need sorting ASAP.

As for the squad, if we go up I'd like to see a PL quality spine - Keeper, Centre Back, Central Midfielder & Striker - that gives us the best chance of competing.
We need to trim the squad for those players not in the plans (Bishop, Pembele, Ekwah, Ba, Aouchiche, Rusyn, Hemir, Matete, Bennette etc)
If we are in the PL, then I'd be moving Roberts, Browne & Poveda on
If we are in teh Champ, I'd still be tempted to move Roberts on. Not totally convinced either way on that one.

If we go up, there's a reasonable overhaul needed, for obvious reasons. If we don't, then I'd go again with largely the same squad, albeit with some tweaks to replace any of the departing "stars"

Ultimately if we were to lose Isidor it would be to a massive bid. He is on a long contract, only 24 and commands the striker premium. He'd probably sell for more than all others assuming no bidding wars. Doesn't seem like he'd be pushing for a move though

The minute that we signed him permanently he was worth at least double what we paid for him - great business.

Not even being overkill here we wouldn't sell unless it was about 18-20m at least and I don't see those bids coming in

I can't see Spurs looking at Wilson like. I doubt he'd even be a starter for Palace.
I think he's too good for the championship. People forget he is only 24 too. He is only going to get better. His IQ and constant hard work aswell as the runs he always makes are massive attributes

Reading these comments it seems like just about all of our players are being watched and will be off in the summer.

While it’s good that we have some players that the Premier and top foreign leagues might want to buy I can’t see all of them leaving.
Why would Jobe or Rigg leave for Premier league reserve games.
Wilson scores a good goal and now I read loads of sides are watching him and we want 2x 4x or 6x what we’ve just paid.

Maybe one or two of the better players might go but I can’t see this big exodus of every good player being sold and we have to start to build another team around Onien with £100 million or whatever.

I think Watson may be the only high value player to leave (if we do or don’t get promoted) and even then it’s because it looks like he’s cast doubt over him wanting to be here, preferring Brighton.

If we don’t go up this year and next year, then I would expect about 4 or even 5 high value players could leave (but if we didn’t get promoted would they really be as good as we think they are)

I've literally just posted a similar post, I reckon the ones to leave will understandably Neil, Jobe and Watson, for sure.

Looks like Tommy Watson has moved into a new house - on Ian Hartes daughters insta.

no idea if it means anything

I know I've posted this before but I just like the sound of it.

My mate's daughter plays for Chelsea so he gets to talk to their coaches.

When he mentioned Sunderland the coach said, 'They're just printing money up there'.
