Frustrating. Was never really given a chance in his preferred role here and when he was it was with Neil alongside him. I hope he smashes it there, Europa league football for them this season too. On paper was far too good of a player for the championship so we’ll soon find out if he goes to Stuttgart.
They're certainly trying to get business done early, not really keen on any of their moves but it's something.
Price is alright for sadiki though, would like a few useful players around that range who can play multiple roles and give some higher quality depth
That CB they’ve signed is apparently one of their top targets. I don’t know much of him but I’ve seen a lot neutrals liking him and saying it’s a good signing like
It's just going to depend on how they set up and how he adjusts to the premier league.
He is so slow and turns like a truck but he's a good defender, if they end up playing a low block and Farke reverts to the back 5 he used at Norwich it could be a solid addition.
Will either end up like Milenkovic or .... I can't think of a good example of a **** serie a CB but there will be one.
We agreed in principle then Newcastle expressed an interest so we had to get our finger out. There are too many teams shopping on the same shelf, to know we managed to get someone off the same shelf as Newcastle is great news.
PL is just a different beast I think we need a lot more depth wise than people actually think to stand a chance
In fairness I don't think there was ever Newcastle interest, everything already agreed with the player by the time that rumour came out - would probably have just been agent talk to coax you into that extra million quid or whatever.

Possibly but he is one I wanted to get done and dusted. It’s easy for fans to want a player who has it all but A they are too expensive and B they’d have no interest .
A few weeks ago a few on here said it’s obvious what Leeds tactic will be in the transfer market as we were linked with several 30+ year olds
I guarantee I won’t be jealous of any Sunderland signing and I doubt your fans will be with Leeds ones because we’re all going to be turning to Wiki or saying oh he’s the one from Ipswich/Southampton/Leicester
We’re going to have to take educated gambles into the unknown , we have to be realistic and that means lowering expectations
I'm not sure this'll be the case, I'm expecting both you and us to sign some good players who we might end up being jealous of the other teams.
I watch a lot of (probably too much) football and feel pretty clued up on a lot of the links there's been for all three promoted teams so far, certainly some of the links I'd have ended up jealous of.
I'm not too fussed about your early business but think the 2 that are basically done will be solid enough for you guys and like I've said in this thread I hope they are. All promoted teams have a mutual interest in the other 2 doing well as it shrinks the gap to the other 17 if we all do well, just have to be the best of the 3.
Definitely an interesting signing for you guys, better taking a risk on a player like this than signing very good championship players imo
Be interesting how Farke sets you guys up, I work with a few Leeds fans and they don't trust him in the PL
The club might be happy to take him for that fee tbh. Clearly rate him
