I don’t know the first thing about him or the Kazakhstan Premier League. It’s just with all these names getting bandied about, the vast majority none of us have ever heard of, I thought I’d find a random player to throw into the mix.
Although it would be odd if the club were looking at him :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Exclusive incoming, Burnley and Leeds also looking at him.

Wouldn't rule us out, we will be spending good money ive been told
Yeah price wise we could, i should have said - he was quoted saying his aim is to be in the champions league next season and if that means he has to stay at USG then he will. Otherwise he wants another champions league team or one in the Europa at a minimum.

See I think we aren’t sure how we’re going to go about our business because I don’t think we’ve had this much to spend ever
Way I see it from the information I was given, they will have a good strong budget of between 100 - 170 million for instance, that's a guess, somewhere between those two figures. Now, in an ideal world, you wanna be spending as little as possible, but if they find a gem whos willing to come here and hes gonna cost say...30 million quid, I'm thinking with the right persuasion, Kyril will be obliged.

Not a transfer story, but what will pass the time till they start happening.

Sunday, Soccer Aid - know the quality is questionable, but it makes you feel like you could do better than someone who's playing football on TV (I'm not very good either)

Also Sunday, the club world cup starts. Going to watch some of it to fill the void of no domestic football. Maybe treat it as a virtual world scouting mission. :)

Beginning of July - Women's Euros. Again, I'll watch some to fill the void.

Also beginning of July, fantasy football will be launched, and as many of us will, there will no doubt be 3 of our players in my squad!

We should be near the start of the season then.

What’s the most we’ve spent in a window before you reckon I can’t think of any outstanding big spending windows in the prem years

Mayenda is the player in the squad I think will make the transition to the PL the easiest. Funnily enough, I think Isidor will make the leap also. Playing against high lines will help him a lot.

We should build our tean around these two., get a RW to match Mundle on the left and theres your options up front, my feeling is that a 4/4/2 should be our starting formation , consentrate on the back 4 and get them set up to with 6 starters to spread the load. Make us hard to beat , and counter at spead, ball jugglers are out, imo., and only used as options from the bench.

Probably the bent, cana, cattermole, turner window was probably £25m+ not huge but I can’t think of ones where we’ve spent much more
See this is my point sure when we were last in the prem there was money but that was before the amount of money in the league exploded so we’ve never been in this position before and I get that players prices have increased as well but I don’t think it’s 5/6x like our transfer budget

This feels like the first real link to me. There's been plenty that we'll be interested in, but this makes a lot of sense. RLB will know all about him from Lorient, he played 4 years with ELF, he's quick with an eye for goal, suited to counter attacking football and he plays in a position where we need depth.
