I believe a number of supporters have made official complaints to the BBC regarding the petulant child. His behaviour on MOTD was appalling given the significant salary he earns which we all contribute to.

People should complain to the bbc imho as his behaviour simply wasn’t acceptable and unlike other media outlets we directly pay for it.

Complaining to the BBC because Shearer didn't talk about us seems like madness to me. I'm surprised that people get so worked up about it.

Fair enough but it’s not like it’s the first time.

Perhaps as we all pay to the bbc it’s not too much to ask to have some fair coverage.

We did have fair coverage. Rooney praised us and discussed us. We were first on match of the day and probably got spoken about as much, if not more than any other team.

People are worked up over very little about Shearer on MOTD in my opinion. I thought it would be bad by what people were saying and then I watched it. It came across as it was Rooneys job to talk about Sunderland and his West Ham, they then leant into the you didn’t want to talk about them as a joke!

You would think he said "I'm Newcastle through and through I ****ing hate Sunderland and hope they get related. I wanted them to go through the whole season not picking up a point such is my hatred of them ****s!"

When what actually happened is the presenter made a **** joke about him not wanting to talk about Sunderland he laughed a bit uncomfortably cause it was a **** joke and then he talked about the team he was meant to talk about.
