Kipre always reminded me of bramble, brilliant for 85mins then can cost you the game out if nowhere, obviously never watching him religiously but not one I’d get excited about
Vardy is a no from me. I think the amount of wages he'd be on for what he offers isn't worth it anymore. I'm all for a bit of experience in the squad but I think that experience has to be exceptional off the pitch if they're not at their peak on it. I don't think Vardy lives the life to give the best example to others. When we talk about someone like Henderson, we're talking about setting standards, being a good pro, training hard, being a good example, positive mentality etc. With Vardy, we're saying he could show Mayenda and Isidor movement and finishing (which I think they both already excel at tbh).
Haven’t watched kipre much in Ligue 1 but I’d be surprised if he’s improved that much to be a premier league player
I disagree. He's not even close to being fit enough and where do you play him? He's not a 6, he doesn't have the athleticism to replace Jobe and Enzo is a better player. Think they'll want upwards of £17m as well.
Hamer is technically good enough for the PL, for sure. He’s outstanding. The issue is he’s a fat **** who can’t last 90 minutes. Would be too much of a risk for us to take, for me.
Defensively Hamer is embarrassing, doesn't get found out much at championship level but at PL he is so bad out of possession
I said there was 3 players from the championship only that I would take but I've def gone off going for Hamer. While I love what he can offer on the ball I have massive concerns out of possession. The other 2 Rudoni and Souza I like and have the physicality for teh PL however, I still think there will be better value out there I don't think we will be looking at players in the championship this summer
And we'll see plenty of games where we are sitting in deep. Hamer is a definite no for me. Why pay such a high fee and wages when there's players on the continent who'll offer more for a fraction of the cost.
Have to admit I liked the look of Rudoni but I assume he's more of an attacking midfielder. If we're to replace Jobe would he be the one? Jobe can do both defensive as well as offensive.
Yep Rudoni would be used in the 'Rigg' role from last season, very good player and one whose getting better season on season
Have we ever had a Cedric before? Regardless he is ****e. Reims are worth a look at though as everyone is for sale.
N not a fan of rudoni yet myself. I’ve got concerns of him off the ball in our system. His height also causes problems for him on the ball and worry it may be a bigger issue at PL level id like Souza
I think a lot of us will be making judgments based on the formation/s we played last year but in reality we might play an entirely different system.
With your background, what position would you see Jobe ending up? Personally I can see him more a defensive midfielder that can get forward. That's basically going off how he's played this season. I don't think he's got forward as much as he has last season
Hamer is one of those that’s great in the champ but never going to make it beyond a bottom 3 team in the PL imo. He’s 28 next month so I’d be surprised if he can improve at all and for the money they’d want it’s not worth signing him to play over what we have, for £20m I’d want real improvement on what we have not a player already proven to be pretty poor in the PL and already playing at his best. If I had £20m I’d be testing the water for Ensiso rather than Hamer and hoping we can discover the potential he holds and make him a £50m player. (Sorry I know I bang his drum a lot). Or even Buonanotte, both of them are already on par or better than Hamer but have decent upsides that we can unearth and it’s likely both will be loaned out again next season so Brighton would potentially do a deal. Only thing is they also seem to do very well when they do business so £20m might not be enough.
I think the role he’s played this year is best for him similar to how a moussa Dembele played at spurs.
