We have a good start on paper. If he can’t impress v the likes of West Ham, Burnley & Brentford, then I struggle to see where he’d impress up front to be honest.
It's as good a start as we could hope for....it gives us a chance to get going from the off. I think whether this lad is a success for us will depend entirely on the service he gets into the box. Mind you,I am aware we haven't signed him yet!<laugh>

I would be amazed if he has a big part to play in the first month as he is 3-4 weeks behind everyone else in fitness.

I thought, when the window first started opening up, we’d already committed big money to the campaign. It’s now at a point whereby spending more becomes increasingly sensible …

… we’ve obviously decided we’re not just here to have a bit of a go and take the parachute money as a consolation prize.

I believe things are about to get really serious.

we’ll spend 250 and signings will go till the window closes

it’s pointless spending 120 and going off half cocked

they’re making a really good go at it and they deserve our trust

Wouldn't shock me if we go with ballard and reinildo at CB for hammers game. Higgins in at full back
Not the end of the world for one game, tin hat on

I'd agree that this is a possibility, although not great,

I also think if the club thought it was a possibility they;d have started Huggins there on Saturday instead of Jones. The fact Jones started suggests to me they're expecting a centre back in to move Reinildo back out

I prefer your outlook to mine, thought reinido looks solid at centre half though

Yeh he did. And Harrison Jones has looked fine at left back and done himself proud out of position. But West Ham will be a different proposition up against Fullkrug and Bowen
Have to get past xhaka to get at the back 4 man, fear not :emoticon-0165-muscl

do think we’ll have someone in by then and hopefully they won’t be injured

Still 11 days left until the West Ham game, most of our signings have came out of the blue so let’s just see what happens.

I know the club will know we need more numbers at CB

We’ve got numbers (currently injured), it’s quality that we need. Currently nowhere near enough for a PL campaign
