It's as good a start as we could hope for....it gives us a chance to get going from the off. I think whether this lad is a success for us will depend entirely on the service he gets into the box. Mind you,I am aware we haven't signed him yet!
I would be amazed if he has a big part to play in the first month as he is 3-4 weeks behind everyone else in fitness.
One day the Spanish are going to look back in awe at the season we had their two legendary strikers, Guiu and Mayenda, in a newly promoted PL attack. They’ll write tales of it - The Ballad of Marc and Eli.
we’ll spend 250 and signings will go till the window closes it’s pointless spending 120 and going off half cocked they’re making a really good go at it and they deserve our trust
Yep. I’m getting a little tetchy on that. Not overly concerned but could really do with some movement soon.
I'd agree that this is a possibility, although not great, I also think if the club thought it was a possibility they;d have started Huggins there on Saturday instead of Jones. The fact Jones started suggests to me they're expecting a centre back in to move Reinildo back out
Yeh he did. And Harrison Jones has looked fine at left back and done himself proud out of position. But West Ham will be a different proposition up against Fullkrug and Bowen
Have to get past xhaka to get at the back 4 man, fear not do think we’ll have someone in by then and hopefully they won’t be injured
Still 11 days left until the West Ham game, most of our signings have came out of the blue so let’s just see what happens. I know the club will know we need more numbers at CB
If we start the first game of the season with Harrison Jones as left back having spent pushing £150m, something has gone seriously wrong.
We’ve got numbers (currently injured), it’s quality that we need. Currently nowhere near enough for a PL campaign
