yeh but if there’s trust there then we might prefer everything done in full visibility. Ie we would rather know about and trust him to go visit other clubs, rather than tell him he can’t until we accept an offer and then they do it behind our backs anyway.

his camp are sensible enough to know Sunderland need to accept an offer. And Jobe is professional and intelligent enough to not kick up a fuss.

I have no problems at all with him visiting clubs and wanting to do what’s right for his career. Would much rather that than an agent be just getting him to the club offering the most like happens to most players
I think his dad is his agent, who might be trying to set up a similar deal to that his brother had,to take effect at the end of next season, when the lad will still only be 20.
I really hope he sticks with us for this next season at least....I've been mighty impressed with him and we're going to need him,or someone very like him.

Have we formally announced Le Fee yet? I assumed we’d make a bit of a song and dance of it this week.

We’ll know formally of course when the retained list is out.

Im sure more targets will come out of the youtube woodwork soon

like we've said, we dont need THAT many in

just a few quality players in, for the right price,

we have Enzo,
Mephs wants to stay, even though he could be available for free, Bournemouth do a have 10m option for one more year, but as hes not playing there.. and is settled here, his family are loving life here,

players that come in are feeling settled and part of something which they havent else where.

with Jobe, its on him, as Dortmund play their first game of the FIFA club world cup on the 17th, they want a deal then, our players and staff are on holiday... so might not be as quick as they want.

this will be a fun summer as we will target better ilk of players, and they wont go to Cardiff or Blackburn over a PREMIER LEAGUE SIDE

I don't really see him going from UCL football to us especially with Newcastle sniffing around.

See what happens I suppose.

Singo would be a serious signing. Strong, quick and versatile. Bit rash on the ball but he's still fairly young.

Has played centre back in a 4 and a 5 and has played right back and right wing back.
I told you we’d be making a WTF signing, being linked to him means they’re trying

if we’re making signings like this I will happily take Hendo on the cheap for the dressing room and like the last 20/30 minutes of games etc

I’m really encouraged that the guardian are reporting we want to keep Jobe. That’s massive for me after weeks of assuming he was a gonna following by days of all media outlets assuming it’s happening.

Think this means even in the worst case scenario that we uplift how much money we’ll recoup

No way we sign 6 players worth 20-25m each. We won’t be be spending anywhere near 120 - 150m
Depends on sales. If we sell Jobe for £25m then that is £35m in before we start. Expect us to hoover up another £5m - £10m in sales (Ekwah, Browne, Adil etc). We could have £45m in before we spend a penny of the prem money.
