I can definitely see the commercial side of the club increasing over the next few years. Wouldn't shock me if we see the stadium expanded next year, if we stay in the PL. Or should I say when.
I just can't understand how, before the season's even started, people are predicting KLD could land us in bother ... ... I've really no idea what more he can do tbh.
If he gets too giddy or rushes to jump too many steps he could easily miscalculate and leave us in trouble. Given his record so far, I think there's more chance of success than failure, by a long chalk.
I’m not predicting. I’m speculating. No more no less. That’s what message boards are for. KLD remains the best thing that has happened to the club in my lifetime. He’ll remain that until he doesn’t. The club hasn’t got everything right to date, though. And while what we’ve done this summer certainly looks very promising, it definitely isn’t a guarantee of success. Always worth discussing over the pros and cons
Yeah I agree with you, he doesn’t come across as an excitable or giddy bloke. Always seems like calmness personified and that’s shown in the success he’s had here in such a short time.
Nothing's a guarantee of success, that's football. I've just no idea why you'd be speculating he could lose his head and drop us in the shyte ... ... just my opinion.
Just because he’s a human and he’s not infallible. That and the overall change in way of operating (which definitely is there). It’s not the most likely scenario, but it’s possible.
Worst case scenario we sell Hjelde's positive vibes for £80m to tide us over. We arent likely to see a transfer window of this scale for a while again and we can afford about £200m loss without breaking ffp based on our precious losses and increased income so it should all work out fine.
We absolutely can’t afford a £200m loss mind, but I’m definitely here for the record breaking Leo sale
MK Dons have made some excellent signings for L2 level. Clear to see why they’re favourites for the title
I have never been concerned about finances since KLD put the chief financial officer of a multinational with a turnover of about 40 billion dollars on our board.
