On the basis van de Sar reckons Riznyk can be one of the best keepers in the world I’d plump for him.Rather stick with Patterson, he will be perfectly fine

Done well it can strengthen you longer term but they’re like man children the ownersThere's been this attitude of "why would he want to leave" from most mags I know. Seems that way from the club aswell, he has a contract yes, however most people fail to see that contracts are used for both parties, protection for the player, and guaranteed fee for the club.
It'll be interesting to see. I think they'll do it with some slack.personally I don't think it's going to be as straightforward for them as some may think.
If that Hackney deal goes through then it just shows how important promotion was for us. Having the ability to splash £20m in the Championship on a single player if we go down is just a cheat code.
Everything is in Newcastle man! Roker and Seaburn (that was a joke by the way) are there now, the deluded thick bastards.
I would build a border and if you cant prove an allegiance to Sunderland, turn them back
Riznyk and Ortega are both likely better imo, also doesn’t help Patto has played one pre season game due to injury and is missing the next two. Can’t be relying on Moore. Bring one of those two in to compete with Patto for meRather stick with Patterson, he will be perfectly fine
He's their best player by a distance.
I disagree. I'd be ****ed come match day

Yep , all football logic says he goes.
But this is political. For the Saudi government, and make no mistakes that is what we are talking about here, it will be humiliating . That's why I think they will dig in. This is them being put in their place, and they won't like it.
I have always been sceptical about them being there in the really longer term. This is a litmus test of their intentions.
It’s entirely possible that their squad is too big and with too much waste in it. Probably still us enough to be right up there but I wouldn’t be completely shocked if they underwhelm.personally I don't think it's going to be as straightforward for them as some may think.
With his age and a year left on his deal we’d probably be talking a relatively low fee. City won’t be looking to take anyone’s eyes out. The bigger question is wages. However he’d be a good bridge for a couple of years while we get established.Ortega for me purely cos he knows the league and less of a risk
Seems the most sensible option of the two, it’ll probably be someone completely left field likeWith his age and a year left on his desk we’d probably be talking a relatively low fee. Then the nunez money to follow and thats isak paid for on outgoing fees and wages saved, add Elliot to the sales and possibly Doak as well and Liverpool will be well within psr ruleshalf Isak money incoming

Think ramsdale the player was always probably okay. The issue for me was always the deal it would take to get him. North of £20m would be the expectation. Now you’d probably get him on a loan towards the deadline but we shouldn’t wait that long. Even before the Patto injury it was a bad idea to make a keeper change mid-season. Also we should be saving loans for a bit of stardust. With ortega likely to be available for a third of the price of Ramsdale (or maybe even less) he represents a more appropriate option imo. Not a star, but a solid solution at an affordable price.Seems the most sensible option of the two, it’ll probably be someone completely left field likehad come round the idea of ramsdale but that link seems to have disappeared
Ortega a much better option than Patterson, comfortably tooRather stick with Patterson, he will be perfectly fine
Would have to be Ortega for me. I think a few more players in, where the risk and potential reward are both lower, is not a bad tactic right now.So at the moment for GK it seems potential options are Riznyk and Ortega? Who would we prefer?
Such a clique vibe
all defending a lad because they know, if one of my mates says something and someone doesn’t believe him I don’t go round jumping down peoples throats
now people are jumping on cam for posting links to journalists from Twitter that he’s not making up
end of the day the lad said Xhaka was waiting in Zurich to fly to the UK but he clearly isn’t
that’s fact the evidence is out there
All the oldies sticking together
