The fact it's now been released, I would see this being done and dead. We won't be wanting to waste time, and if anything, if it ever got back on, we would likely want to be compensated for wasted time and offer less or poorer terms.

Maybe, just maybe a few agents have tried to screw us over on a number of deals, after all they won't know us too well.
The club may well have decided to draw a very public line in the sand.
