What sort of fee would we be looking at getting for Mundle? £15m? Haven't seen any potential figures knocking around.
Surely some kind of murky loophole this? Can’t see it happening like he stays there imo unfortunately
Hope there’s a PL charge for any deal to Al Hilal mind - even if it would also be objectively hilarious.
Personal opinion I think RLB likes him as a footballer but maybe not as a winger in the PL I just wonder if he is considering Roberts further in field, late in a game. Is he the man with the keys ?
Worked at Wembley and he was very narrow for the most part at shields (I know it’s shields) so could definitely see it
he’s had a good but injury interrupted season, high ceiling, good defensive contribution as well as goals. 2 years left on his contract but seems to want away. I reckon 15 mil sound about right. somewhere in the 10-20 mil range. Wouldn’t mind it being structured in a way that we get a healthy percentage of the next sale. Swap deals are the stuff of video games, but a defender from Monaco could be really useful. can’t think of who our last swap deal would have been? Lee Clarke and Paul bracewell?
Not a bit of a red herring this? Would he not be the replacement for Noa Lang who’s already gone to Napoli?
Seems fairly dodgy. Can see them getting well over £150m and then loaning him back in Jan or something daft.
If they do they need the book hoying at them. Just funny how they said he didn't want to leave. They'll be squirming now
I do understand the idea of the need to upgrade across the park. However the potential removal of key, big personalities on which we’ve build our success is a concern. We’re perhaps on to lose Neil, Patto, Cirkin, Mundle to add to the previous removal of Jobe and Mepham. It’d also be 6 British players being replaced by 6 foreign lads. I get the aim for improving quality levels, and the financial difference is what it is, but the alchemy of creating a cohesive squad who will lock into what we need to do this season is something that needs to be considered - and is harder to predict. Massive change does concern me.
Howl of they ‘played Liverpool into signing Etikike’ only to lose Isak. Weird even if it is a financial manipulation to sell their best player to Saudi, shows the owners more arsed about growing their dog **** league than the muck up the road.
