Surely we bring in at least one before start of the season. Our options need improving and the injuries to Alese and O’Nien (and losing Mepham) means we are very light there

What? We are desperate and the club have even acknowledged it. Even Regis le Bris said we need defensive reinforcements and it’s our priority.

Not bringing in a CB would be negligent so I doubt we don't bring one in. RLB wants defensive reinforcements, he said so himself. We have Ballard and Seelt as the only fit first team CBs with O'Nien, Alese and Hjelde (if he's classed as one) injured. That stable wasn't seen as enough last season with Mepham coming in so unless they see Seelt making a huge jump straight off the back of a big injury we'll bring in at least 2.

Agree, reckon they will be wanting at least 2 but who knows what's pans out. However, we have started doing business early so can't see them not getting two across the line!

 

Being told we were useless last season did us no harm so they can all crack in with their opinions.

I hope the oppo writes us off in advance as well.

Aye I'm excited to see what these lads can do and quietly optimistic, but there's a very real chance they can't hack it in the Prem, especially immediately. I don't think it's a stretch (or insulting) for rival fans to assume we're going to struggle lol

 

Diakite as the big investment, then Aguerd if that £8m fee is to believed as the smaller investment.
