Need to watch some highlights vids but I’m a little underwhelmed with Adingra. Would have preferred a left footed right winger and I don’t think we’ll sign another.

Also erks me a little bit that we’ve essentially signed Adingra for £10m + Tommy Watson.

Watson played 22 times for us in the championship. That's it. 22 senior appearance. We sold him for 9 million plus add-ons (and a sell on clause I guess ). Nothing guarantees he'll make it in the premier League or will make an instant impact.

We're paying 18 plus add-on for 60 premier league appearances, across 2 seasons and a player that arsenal were quoted 50m for last summer.

Every signing is a risk, but I'm happy with this one

Like I say I’m underwhelmed but I’m far from against it. I’ll back him and hopefully he turns out to be quality for us. And I’ll watch some videos this afternoon and see if I get giddy :D
He has all the attributes to be dangerous.

he might be a player that needs to be loved and be the main man, he was in and out the team at Brighton because of mitoma

I think it emphasises my opinion that we don't think Talbi is 100% ready to be the main man right now and want him rotating on either side.

Which is why we will be bringing in a 5th. I'm so certain.

Can you expand on this a bit, I feel like having 5 wingers, and typically you can only field 2 unless you're playing a third one more centrally or as a striker etc is a lot for a club like ours to manage, do you see someone being sold or you think we'll plan for the season with 5 wingers? Honest question, just curious what you think.

I advocated for him at the end of May so I’m fan boying a bit
Someone (may have been you) mentioned him the other week and I've been watching his highlights. Looks like the midfielder we have been crying out for years for
Tall box to box ball winner. Also has a magnificent Bracewell turn

It was probably me the other day when we were linked and I posted my screenshot from may

It does get slightly overlooked that RLB is a very good coach especially when it comes to getting players to do their defensive work. I remain a big fan of all our signings at the moment. Just don't sign Brewster please. I spent all last season making fun of him and don't think I can make people forget that quickly.

Think 5 wingers for the season being:
Roberts
Mundle
Tabli
Adingra
RW

Would want 3 natural wingers during afcon anyway and these type of explosive wide players are prone to injury so need serious depth.

We won't sell Mundle, obviously won't sell Talbi or Adingra and then Roberts is probably the only proper natural right winger so for balance and quality in depth we will imo sign a starting right winger to ensure we aren't playing players out of position yet again.

It’s genuinely quite impressive to find 5 good signings and them all be going to AFCON

I do wonder if there’s any sort of agreement or understanding with any of them that they won’t go
