Just occured to me I hadn't actually watched any highlights of Talbi apart from his champions league goals.
He looks rapid. And importantly he looks rapid over 2-3 yards not just over 30 yards, which for me is so important. He will be able to lose players quickly. Love it.

Also having now actually watched some of the player - I agree with what Cam has said. I reckon he'll play off the left for us. His burst of pace over 2-3 yards is frightening and he'll be brilliant going either side of the full back.
So I therefore concur with what I think @SourPatch2 said - our next winger signing really needs to be a left footed right winger. Not Lauriente. And certainly not at that price.

I have discovered a slight concern with ghisolfi. Past clubs seems to say he moves the same few players with him everywhere. I noticed this after the boga links.

Sport Cover were also the agents of Aouchiche, Pembele, Ba, Michut etc weren't they? Or have I made that up.

We don’t need him and we won’t buy him but a versatile international who’s played most of his career not only at top level, but for strong clubs is not something I’d be worried about.

Yep. Club Brugge tactics in the champions league were very similar to ours. They’d sit back and turn the ball over 25-30 yards out, usually through Jashari who would then instantly ping the long balls out to the wing and that was them gone and looking dangerous. The front 3 often interchanged which was interesting, so he’s got that in his locker if we ask that from him.
One thing I'll say is that it could well be that all our signings so far were from the old regime. We've just assumed its Ghisolfi (it probably is)

Think we might have a gem in Mandava. Any player with 3 years under Simeone will always be one for me. Listening to his interview a passion and desire shines through. Might just be the best signing of the summer so far.
