The one thing I will argue in Mesliers case is that quite often you see goalkeepers in teams who tend to dominate switch off and make daft mistakes. If you’re defending with a low block and the midfield is deeper it’s much easier to make saves and stay focused imo
The issue with Meslier is clearly concentration imo. He was great in the prem and even still makes some big saves, but switches off and gets complacent w lot
Disagree, I think he is good enough for the premier league, if he ends up being the no 1 come the start of the season
Will Petrovic prefer to play for Bournemouth, average home crowd last season 11,200 or for us, average home crowd last season in the Championship of around 40,000
I don’t agree that it’s a MUCH better place. Slightly better yeah no Europe, lost most of their main defence and if a team underperforms high chance their manager gets poached our ambition from KLD this season is to be ‘no where near relegation’ now that likely won’t happen, but we’ve shown we won’t stand in the way of players also a good place for a keeper to show how good they are
Just a quick update from me. Just spoken to someone. We all know it but everything done with Talbi just waiting for announcement. Annoyingly nothing close with Mikautadze. Not sure if it’s not close or looking unlikely. An unknown player close to signing but they couldn’t say who or what position
