KLD wants promotion. Speakman wants promotion. RLB wants promotion. The players want promotion. They've all said that in interviews.

When I see the likes of Palace being in their 2nd FA Cup final in 8 years, Brighton playing in Europe, Bournemouth with a £40m striker up front and one of the most sort after managers in Europe, Forest on course of European football I get immensely jealous.
I believe we’d be more on par with Luton at the moment.

Ever fancied praising the team you support? Or when we get promotion are tou going to spend all summer and the season banging on about how ****e we are or didn't spend enough?

You happy to accept a ****e season and probably relegation to improve the club? If that's the case then champion, we are on the same page
I’ve praised us plenty of times. If we get promoted I’ll be delighted after another Wembley trip :emoticon-0148-yes: I understand football and know how tough it would be but I’m prepared for it. You don’t get my points at all. I’m desperate for us to be back in the PL.

PL trumps all. Bigger games, better stadiums, club improves as a result of huge money coming into the club, better players come in, going back down involves the cheat code that is parachute payments.

I see no positives in staying in the championship, you might win more games but what's the point if you don't want to go up?
Honestly don’t understand the whole concept of supporting a football team if you don’t want to go as high as possible just makes me think why waste your time <laugh>

Luton done better in the PL than most expected tbh

26 points, 6 points behind 17th

I do believe we’d be in a serious scrap to survive but I’m all for promotion. Would be devastated to stay in this division

You may be mate, but the tone since January on here and social media is that an awful lot won't be as tolerant
I’d like to think a lot aren’t that deluded and would understand that we are going to lose a lot. A lot know we need to go up just for the financial benefit and if we stay up even better

Like the tone of sacking RLB before the play offs and pretty much straight after if we fail?

The odd minority maybe. Most people I’ve saw that are open to RLB going same as me, would be if we absolutely bombed the playoffs with the same standard of performances from the last couple of months as then we are on a downward trend that hasn’t changed or been sorted for months now.

but that’s purely on the performance for me. If we fight and show that intensity and urgency and still lose then I’ll be happy as we tried and be more than happy for RLB to stay

We’d be lucky to get 30 points. I’d fully expect relegation but desperate for a chance up there

Minority? How loud where the boos Saturday?

Has social media been awash with positivity?

Say he gets us promoted, how many games do you give him in the PL?
It all depends how we start. The only things that matters in that first season up is survival. If it meant sacking him and bringing someone in to get us through a dog fight then so be it. I just want us up and to survive, however tough it’ll be.

Any your expectations of the owners? Forest type spend? Or sensible spending, knowing we may fail and have to yo yo?

It’s been negative because of awful performances over a period of time now. People don’t just twist for the sake of it. Since February it’s been absolutely rank, we’ve been awful to watch.

I’d want us to sign some PL experience but wouldn’t particularly expect it. KS has done a good job recently so would have to be trusted. We’d have to spend a serious amount to survive though IMO. Some of this squad are nowhere near PL level and that’s fine.

Some enjoyable elements of the EFL and each to their own but I really want to see us back in the prem. playing the biggest teams and trying to compete. It’s a world away from when we were last there and personally don’t see how we would survive next season but the money we’d get gives us a huge chance to build some foundations to end up staying in the prem down the line.

So many clubs there that we can aspire to match. Palace in a cup final, multiple teams close to Europe.

Defo be some depressing games getting battered but promotion is only going to get harder as the seasons go on. We’ve got a huge chance to achieve it this year and set the club up for the medium term at least, got to try and take it.
