Free transfer but he was demanding 150k a week earlier in the summer. That's alot of wage for a standard no nonsense centre half. He's solid enough but is he 150k solid?

Chelsea have an agreement with Leeds (£60 million with most of the cash up front). Player says he doesn't want to go there and would rather stay at Leeds. He really wants a move to Barca who have now submitted a £51 million over 3 installments and said they will write off the £9 million we owe them for Firpo. That takes it to the magic £60 million.

Leeds worried that Barca are already not able to pay outstanding fees for previous deals (Inc Liverpool for Coutinho).

Arsenal still mulling wether to increase their bid from £35,000,001 to maybe include a bag of footballs to force the deal through.

Yeah it's a lot but freebie wages are always generally higher as the player knows they can ask for an excessive salary as the club ain't gotta pay a fee for them.

If he's on £150k then that's about a £30m outlay over his four year deal. If he still had time on his Burnley deal, probably looking at needing to pay £25m for him and then his wages on top, wage demands probably wouldn't have been as high as they were on a free but I reckon there'd be a total outlay close to £45m give or take.

 

Funny as **** if true but that bloke's one of the ****test journos on the planet mate, probably find out Ronaldo's gonna sign an extension now, lol.

Rashford, Martial, Sancho and Elanga... don't see too many goals in that.

Not too many top strikers on the market either, Nunez and Haaland snapped up already and Lewandowski only wants Barca.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they reject offers for him.
