Chelsea have an agreement with Leeds (£60 million with most of the cash up front). Player says he doesn't want to go there and would rather stay at Leeds. He really wants a move to Barca who have now submitted a £51 million over 3 installments and said they will write off the £9 million we owe them for Firpo. That takes it to the magic £60 million.
Leeds worried that Barca are already not able to pay outstanding fees for previous deals (Inc Liverpool for Coutinho).
Arsenal still mulling wether to increase their bid from £35,000,001 to maybe include a bag of footballs to force the deal through.

Yeah it's a lot but freebie wages are always generally higher as the player knows they can ask for an excessive salary as the club ain't gotta pay a fee for them.
If he's on £150k then that's about a £30m outlay over his four year deal. If he still had time on his Burnley deal, probably looking at needing to pay £25m for him and then his wages on top, wage demands probably wouldn't have been as high as they were on a free but I reckon there'd be a total outlay close to £45m give or take.
