If we do end up with Isak it will be interesting to see how he does. I wasn't impressed with him for Sweden in the Euro's. He looked quick but his first touch was awful and he wasn't very composed in front of goal.

He is only young so hopefully he will improve as he matures but 58million quid is a lot for what I would regard as the unfinished article.

Manchester United have held talks with Newcastle United over the signing of Slovakia goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, 33. (Mail)

The clubs are yet to reach an agreement but Manchester United have submitted a loan offer for Dubravka. (Athletic - subscription required)

£18m loan deal should do it

God knows but this Isak one came out of nowhere i suspect newcastle will go balls deep late in the window. All the we're skint stuff was just a smokescreen.

I suppose its even possible Isak and shut up shop. Should he an interesting last week for nufc fans...
