Both not 'wow' signings but definitely improvement over Longstaff/Shelvey and Wood/Murphy/Fraser. Would've preferred Maddison/Paqueta and Pulisic/Diaby.
If we're at the stage that Pedro is an "option" and not a marque signing then we have clearly progressed.
Leicester are just baffling me. They’ve brought nobody in, they’ve had a ****e start to the season by all accounts and are at risk of losing 2 possibly 3 of their better players very close to deadline day with little time to replace them. Tielemans looks like he could be off to Arsenal and if we get in with a £50m+Dubs for Maddison before Chelsea offer them what they want for Fofana I reckon we could get him…whether they then sell Fofana is another matter but I can easily see them around the drop zone come Christmas time…they may go balls deep in Jan of course like we did earlier this year but it’s just baffling to me.
Rodgers is having his soul ripped from them. They have no money. They need these sales fo balance the books
I wonder.....could we have been laying the foundations all along? Like, for Isak, could it be like this: "How much?" "You tell me?" "£35m?" "**** off" "£40m?" "Are you serious?" "Well, how much is he then?" "£55m" Week before deadline. "£55m then?" "Dammit, yes."
I'll never forget the Lindgard loan deal, Dubs wasn't in the squad and like Pope will be in the team come the weekend, that's what I think and don't think there's anything in it, imho.
I was thinking more on the £10M . Should be if they manage to get top half or something more achievable for Man U.
