He wrote an article in March that was headlined that the spend wouldn't be more than 90 million. The article did mention 60 million a the lowest end of that range

The fans focussed in on 60 million and then twitter louts started posting tweets focusing on on the lowest end of the range.. They essentially made a fallacious claim that spread.. A claim that completely ignored the full context of the article.

I believe I voted 90 to 110 million..... You have ignored all the evidence which has been considerable and gone with what you 'think'

Here's the thing. Making decisions based on what you simply 'think' is a highly unreliable pathway to truth.

The club, the manager and every journalist has repeatedly told you, but you simply will not absorb what you don't want to hear.

Yeah, he announced it on a podcast mate. Then wrote the story, and a few weeks later went on True-Faith Podcast admitting that he never meant £60m as in that was it, but more like £60m and he thought we would make £30m by selling 6 players (boy was he ****ing tripping). When he was pushed on the figure of £60m again he said nobody had actually said £60m they had simply said - less than Jan, so they can still be active in Jan market.

The reason people have taken the piss out of him is he told anyone that would listen back in October that our Jan budget was only £30m.

Now you can see why everyone is enjoying watching the bald cretin ****ting it over his £60m claim.

Funilly enough as I trawled through his Twitter bollox, the amount of time he asks people if they want screenshots is remarkable.

The article dated March is clear and it doesn't say 60 Million only. Its said no more than 90 and that was written before Newcastle signed anyone, so what's the problem?

He has admitted himself that he said £60m, that he pulled £60m from his arse and what he was actually told was "less than Jan". Yes he's since changed it to be "I meant £60m plus £30m in player sales meaning £90m" but at the time what he said which was then used by other journalists who he has admitted copied his story.

He was adamant the takeover was dead, he was adamant Henry Mauris was taking over the club, he was adamant that we only had £30m to spend in Jan, and he was adamant that Steve Bruce was the best man for the job.

My main issue with him is he has fully admitted that he makes stuff up at times to get a reaction from the NUFC fan base and he comes across like a bell end.

Plus he uses screenshots.

Where is your evidence he said 60 million only and where is your evidence he admitted saying something different to what he actually wrote?

Please show me... I keep saying I work on evidence not Chinese whispers

No offence, I can't be bothered. I went through his twitter, I commented several times at the time n all. Scrolling his twitter back a month takes 10 minutes on a mouse wheel never mind back to March. Check out Gallowgate Shots and True-Faith Podcasts too if your that interested.

It should be easy.. It would have to be before march BTW.

I'm going to stick with the physical evidence in afraid.. You see it's not just Edwards saying it. The owner and manger put out information that seems to corrrelate with the numbers plus every other journalists and Newcastles activity does also.

I keep asking this question, but what does it matter If the spend is between 60 million and 100? What's the problem?

The discussion is well past that. And is simply going round in circles about whose right and whose wrong. Nobody cares.

So its not that it's not transfer related then it's because the discussion has lasted too long.

If you'd just said doing your head in rather than derailing I'd have said OK no bother mate.

So transfer funds aren't related to transfers.. Wow

In any event you're wrong... It's your Earl and mustard chino's talk that isn't folders.

It may be annoying people and I'll end the conversation but it isn't unrelated.
