I don't recall anyone saying we would sign Erikson, people discussed it as an option, discussed the pro's and cons of the deal, what his strengths were etc. Can't recall anyone saying we would sign him. Same with Diaby, same with Nunez. Paquetta on the other hand may be a different story but I've seen you flip flop once or twice on that one yourself.

Pretty damn sure You may have even said there was no way we were signing Botman too.

Haha you've started to realise they won't be signed and are backtracking


Of the 4 I felt Eriksen might have been possible.

It certainly made the most sense with regards FFP but it still boils down to the same issue with some of the targets, It's not the transfer fee that the owners are being cautious on, It's blowing the wage structure apart for the sake of 1 player and pissing the rest of the squad off. There is already reports ASM bumping his gums about wanting a better deal despite signing a new deal last year.

Yes sorry I mean it'll be later on in the window and that they'll be happy with what they've got for the 1st season.
