I admit I was hoping he'd join us at the time. Has a bit about him. Since he's turned up, though, he's a proper arrogant fooka and I'm very much looking forward to Wor Eddie handing him a lesson in PL football.
I think the issue with the appointment is Ten Hag's come from Ajax where the playing style is ingrained at 5 years of age, that total football stuff. He's then making this massive leap to Man U, where expectation is now top 4 minimum and their 'system' has been broken for years. Huge amount of pressure, so it'll be an interesting watch. I thought he'd work here as our expectations are so much lower and he could then sculpt a club. Obviously he didn't fancy it.
Have we signed anyone yet? I'm getting sweaty here, it's the 25th May ffs.
Ten hag will just end up being the next de boer more than likely because Manchester United fans have unrealistic expectations.

Boubacar Soumare (remember when we wanted him?) is available less than a year after Leicester went for him. Believe Nickson is/was a huge fan. But Nickson was also a huge advocate of Chris Wood.
Question; if we sign Paqueta, do we move to a 4-2-3-1 type formation? Joe/Bruno behind Paqueta, ASM, new striker and new right winger (Nunez/Harrison?), is that what we might do?
