Unfortunately, he is also so short too.
Set pieces are going to be a nightmare this year...(did I write this year...don't I mean every year!)

Another player who can see a pass, but is somewhat lightweight...we will have the smallest midfield in the league...Chair, Amos and Carroll

Not a problem Beth, they don’t have to use extra energy going around the opposing players, they can just go under them in a continual straight line <whistle><whistle>

Am I the only one who has a good feeling about this signing? He clearly has ability and has grown since then, with more experience. If we can get him in the right position with the right instructions, he can do well. I think he might be a surprise player this year.

I agree, I think he has a lot to offer and his best is still to come imo. (I hope)

Agree with what people have said already. Tom Carroll is a low risk signing. Left footed which gives us some balance, can’t help but think Dom Ball needs to step up as the physical presence or we sign an alternative as Beth rightly said we look very lightweight in the middle of the park.
 
Well it’s on Twitter about Austin, but then again it is Twitter, not sure he would fit in to our style

If another team had that squad we’d be saying it would do well to stay up even in this dogshit league. Lose BOS and there’s very little other teams will fear apart from their own mediocrity.
