Summer Transfer window

that it's your best squad ever? Not sure i agree with that.

You boys are spending a lot of money though so i guess that does give you some optimism that the players you are buying are good.

I'm not too excited by your new boys though although i guess you've needed to upgrade on simpson for a while now (whether that rb is any good or not though....)

Simpson, Fuchs, morgan and Huth - all needed replacing - we've done that - and positively - Maguire and Evans as a centre-back pairing is a definite improvement on how we have lined up since the title win - did I mention title win? naughty me <whistle> - Sky will now be spitting feathers whilst Quentin's will have turned a shade of puce and his chins will be wobbling uncontrollably <laugh>

exactly what i mean.

How can it be your best squad ever when you had a title winning one before <whistle>

unless you are trying to tell us something about your title winners

Glad I read ahead I was about to highlight that bit hahaha <rofl>

In fairness, Musa had a great scoring record for CSKA Moscow and scored two smashing goals in pre-season for us in the International Cup against Barcelona -he'd also scored two terrific goals for Nigeria against Argentina in the World Cup - now just think about that as a Leicester City (or Saints) fan - of course you'd be optimistic - hindsight is a wonderful thing of course -

I say my bit, stick to my opinions and hold my hands up when I get it wrong (unlike some) - IMusa has not been a success - he's lightening quick but needs to play as the central striker - whether he'll have success or not another club who knows - look at Salah at Chelsea - was pretty cack - that's footie <ok>

You misunderstand me Bobby ... I'm not overly optimistic in general ... just used to our record signing up to our 2015 season being Ade Akinbyi for £5 million ... so the players and prices I've mentioned are almost akin to winning the lottery for us Leicester fans <laugh> ... there is every cause for thinking that the aditions I mentioned will imrove us .... <ok>

Does this mean that the 'improvement' trophy you invented and handed out to Spurs, when Spurs fans were claiming contentment at the fact that their team is improving, really belongs to Lesta?

Get you now <ok>

Wouldn't be so sure mate. Relatively tight between you lot and although I don't think they'll make it I wouldn't be surprised if they make it.

They'll do better than Chelsea imo.

Chelsea are in disarray atm because of the manager situation. Looks like they'll miss out on some signings as a result.

As for us, it's a big unknown step into a new world. Emery has a decent record but is untested in the PL. It will be his first season at a new club, getting to know new players, with a new backroom set up and completely different approach from the club from top to bottom

But we've signed Bernd Leno GK, Lichsteiner RB, Sokratis CB, Torreira DM, and it looks like we're about to add Soyuncu CB and possibly Banega CM, so that's several positions that were crying out to be addressed.

The aim will be top 4, but any improvement on last season will be a plus for us this season.

They won't all start though. If they do you're ****ed.

You can't just put 5 or 6 players straight into a starting 11. Doesn't work.

Plus other than Benega they're all bang average imo.

Keeper is solid, admittedly.
