His best moment for us was probably singing that 'What do you think of Tottenham?' song when we won the FA cup.

Glad to see he's going tbh. Means we're no longer holding onto crocks and underperforming players. Also means it frees up a space for us to get a midfielder in who can actually play each week.

Their CL campaign was a misery in a weak group, Keita and Sabitzer absolutely ragged the lad silly at the Stade Louis. Maybe because Bakayoko had left and he had too much to do on his own, like Kante when Matic left. The season before that Bakayoko ran the show, which speaks volumes.

Has anybody from that title winning Monaco side gone on to be great this last season? Mendy perhaps will, Lamar is a possibility, Mbappe, Bakayoko and Silva... meh.

I'm not saying he's ****, I just think you're expecting somebody like Essien to turn up the way you're waxing on about him and he ain't nowhere near that level.

Lewy would never join CFC. He's at his peak, they'd need CL football.

I've know Silva didn't get many starts but I thought he looked the bollocks when he did play. Reminds me of David Silva with less vision but slightly speedier and a lethal shot

I think he's been ok, nothing special. I don't see the player all the City fans were going berserk for when he signed.

<laugh> perhaps last season ... no arguing that he got a fair few appearances as first choice in his time <ok>

Sky will rattle himself into a straight jacket over transfers one of these days, he really does get very touchy over these things.

Make sure you don't mention Van Donk.

Emery seems to be making smart decisions.

    Lichsteiner > Bellerin
    Leno > Cech
Getting rid of that overrated crock

Although having said that, he did just oversee a new five year deal for Xhaka...

    Xhaka <laugh>

Fabianski signs for West Ham, decent couple of signings for them in last 2 days

  16. I actually get the feeling that the club's owners have finally woken up to the fact that the fans want to lynch them.

It's funny you say that because 2 french football correspondents (the only 2 I've seen asked about it) said that Fabinho was the key man in that 2 with Bakayoko.

Are you a French football correspondent mate? Decent job, fair play to ya.

The way I'm waxing on about him?? wtf <laugh> I hardly know anything about him other than what I've read and seen since signing him. He's coming with a very, very good reputation from those in the game.

Eissen? No mate I think he's more of a young version of Ferdandinho from what I've seen.

Keita is more like Eissen but more forward thinking.

I can feel it in your words Tel - this Keita singing has got you worried.

Solid 4th choice. Very good 4th choice tbh.

He was never bought in to be a starter.

Matip can be excellent but injury prone - came on a free.

AOC has been excellent since joining, very impressive and getting better.... and trust me I was very disappointed when he signed. Klopp has got him working hard, he couldn't even play him for a while as the fitness levels required at Arsenal weren't anywhere near good enough for what Klopp wanted - that says a lot about Wenger and Arsenal <laugh>

He needs to spend big for a proper midfielder, Wilshere gone and Xhaka signing a new deal would worry me.
