Does that mean there will soon be lots of mentions of HENDRICK?

Perhaps I'd better warn Trev.

Hendrick will hopefully be gone soon
Sadly I believe it only be a loan deal for Hendrick
This means that Hendrick will be back soon enough
In the meantime let’s hope Hendrick does depart
That way certain posters will see their Hendrick anxiety issues deplete.
Though still amuses me that Hendrick has a better goal to game ratio than ASM

Yep the pots empty but the foundations are in. Aston Villa had their takeover a few years before Newcastle same but didn't get the instant success and now they're adding the bells and whistles.

This season is a taster in the champions league from next summer onwards they'll really kick on again I bet.

But you also complained (on another thread) about squad depth and the quality of the bench. Now you are complaining about us upgrading our squad/sub options.

Yep, but what I also said was the way you go about it is by improving your first team to relegate players to the bench. I dunno, it just irks me that we have to watch Almiron with his 0.000005 xG every week, and Burn at LB (for now - I accept Hall might displace him, but that's unlikely short term). I still don't understand how a £42m sub right back was a priority this season.

Palmer would have been a cracking buy.

Hall is 100% our 1st team left back mate.

If Newcastle had signed a rw and cb of high quality we'd be almost a complete top 6 side... it's coming they've got the targets in sight I bet.

Deadline day deals for the big boys:

- Brennan Johnson to Spurs
- Amrabat to Man United
- Cole Palmer to Chelsea
- Matheus Nunez to Man City
- Gravenberch to Liverpool
