Rumours of Lascelles heading to Saudi.

Also looks like our net spend after SELA deal, UCL qualification and finishing 4th was lower than Bournemouths and Burnley.

Does.
Not.
Make.
Any.
****ing,
Sense.

Well I can't argue with the fact I have no clue what our squad building strategy was, nor how we're restricted to lower net spends than Burnley and Bournemouth.

Okay

Burnley and Bournemouth have not spent a very large amount of cash (NET) over the last 3 years. We have spent £400m. Additionally we bought Anthony Gordon in Jan for £45m and we were told that signing was coming out of the summer budget. People seem to forget this.

As for why we are buying young players that are subs - we have an aging squad that is worth **** all on paper so we are putting that right. Livermento is regarded as having the potential to be the world best right back, we got the chance to sign him and have him learn off Trippier - could prove to be a master stroke. Likewise we have Botman - Man City tried to sign Botman this summer before they signed Gvardiol (Who is ragarded as having the potential to be the worlds best centre back). We've then added Tonali, Barnes and Hall. Whilst already having players like Isak, Anderson and Miley. They're are actually putting together one ****ing hell of a young squad together, its just the pieces aren't all in place yet.

It's actually been a not bad window, I would have preferred a rw but can't have everything.
