Summer Transfer Thread

Scored seven in 30 last season; perhaps he's the Kilkenny replacement we're looking for. Then again, if it's not utter rubbish, West Ham will probably pip us to it with their wages.

Now we're being linked with Preston keeper Andrew Lonergan (source).

Do it, I say! Schmeichel to Leicester for £2m and I reckon Lonergan should be at least as good if not better. Until the goalkeeping staff get their hands on him, that is.

It'll be interesting to see how Doncaster's defence does compared to ours. They've also signed Tommy Spurr who I think would have been a good signing for us.

So, if it's true what Bates is saying on the OS about us missing out on 3 players to the PL who are they? Apart from the obvious one - Westwood.

EDIT: After checking the transfers on SS I'm going to guess that the other 2 are Darren Pratley and Billy Jones.
