Seems that quite a few youth players going to be more involved next season, hopefully a good thing and won't cost us promotion.

with johnson an killa outbound we definately need two replacement midfielders an i would like to see a completely new look defence, although the only way were goin to do that is to flash the cash a bit and we all know how much old bates like to keep hold of it, so it looks like another summer of free transfers :) yippeee

We need a new centreback. Get 2 of Bruce, Bromby and O'Brien out, bring in a tough centreback so we don't rest all our hopes on Kisnorbo (after his injury he won't be the same) and give Tom Lees a chance, he might have some pace!

Sign Eric Lichaj, although Connolly impressed, he was fantastic. Get a new leftback.

Then a tough, tackling midfielder. We have actually missed Micky Doyle this season.

Eric Lichaj played better in his short term at Left Back then any of the other left backs we've had this season put together, bar perhaps Bradley Johnson. Lichaj could potentially be the best signing we make this summer, if Grayson and Bates have the ambition to go after him. I thought he was simply sublime every time he kicked a ball for Leeds, pacey, can cross, can tackle very well and I can't remember seeing him out of position, unlike his counterpart McCartney.

Conolly and Lichaj as first choice full backs I reckon, with some quality back ups.

Lichaj's definitely worth a try on loan (I'm certain Villa wouldn't sell him). That would leave us still needing a dominant centre back type - a Kisnorbo figure but with working knees who can partner him, O'Brien or Lees next season. Who that might be I have no idea. Thank God I'm not a football manager.

Grella needed to learn the game & thought he was better than he was. No loss to the English game.

When I spoke to Grey & Lorimer they both said he was a too nieve even though he had the best feet at the club, everytime I saw him play I was impressed but his attitude stunk when at loan at swindon & I think L1 was probably his level.

good luck anyway Mikey, dont slag us off because you couldnt cut it though!

as a friend of Mikey's, he is training with the Cosmos in hopes of remaining fit over the holiday and to attract interest from clubs in the Championship or High League 1. Ive seen him play for a number of years and if given a good run of games, he will score tons of goals for a team and if he improves his attitude, he has real potential to be premiership quality. I never really understood why he didn't get a fair chance to play in Leeds first team, especially last year, where he could play 70 or 80 minutes.

Leedsusa <ok> A lot of fans thought the same, but he didnt exactlly set League 1 on fire when we loaned him out to Carlisle or Swindon. I sadly think League 1 is his level although the kid is blessed with tons of skill.

Latest rumour doing the rounds on twitter - Zenden on a free.
Wouldn't be a bad signing, although getting on a bit and would probably be on big wages.

Grella didn't have the right attitude. Refusing loans to League 2 and then walking out on Swindin showed that.

Craig Conway apparently. I've heard his name a few times, think he was linked with Middlesborough last season when they were buying every other player from the SPL. Suppose he'd be a good replacement for Snodgrass or Gradel if that old bastard sold them.

We've also been linked with Jimmy Kebe over the old Twitter:

Also says Smith is a "strong possibility" for us and thinks Snodgrass is set for Norwich. Not sure if he's reliable, probably just another internet BS merchant.

Lichaj on loan. Probs another full back cos I dnt rate Connolly at all. 2 center halfes and Kisnorbo as a spare. 2 central midfielders, a tough tackler and a dominator that will win us games and shut up shop wen were winning. Perhaps a winger as back up, but another striker is needed, BP is poor at this level, LB is a one trick pony and will get man marked, RM and DS are decent tho, another striker, perhaps Lefondre, Sordell or some unsung talent

Think your mixing too much up there Somma. Connoly I thought has been brilliant. So I would be looking for a LB CB DM & hold onto who we have got with the possibilty of another CM for cover.
