It’s the way we are going so we need to get behind it, Proctor for example gets some stick, probably based on the teams he was put in charge of when we had no coach. However he must have something about him on the training pitch because the last 3 head coaches thought highly of him. He wasn’t ever brought in as a head coach or manager but because he filled in as 1st team coach and lost a few games he’s somehow ****e at his job ! Crazy thinking along those lines. Horses for courses, and if he’s doing the business on the training pitch then brilliant..

I think some people don’t understand that there is a major difference between being a coach and being the manager/head coach

Sure he used to wear odd boots for Monkwearmouth comp when he played for them Proctor. Adidas predator on the shooting foot and a different boot on the other foot. <laugh>

With this player, it was a complete random chance I bumped into as I was there with a contact who knew him. Not going to lash it out there as my mate is well known. The fact he didn't sign is crap but it's literally a lottery on deadline day.

You could have easily not mentioned you were with your contact and mentioned who the player was. No one would ever had known. You wouldn't have been the only person he spoke to that night.

Why would he name anyone until it is done? It isn't fair on the club, the player, or the players current club. Prehab kindly tells us what he hears, he can't guarantee any of the information as things can change quickly in football, just look at the last week at SAFC.
I appreciate the information that Prehab, Smug, Magnus, Bob and the others who hear things pass on to us and long may it continue.
