new manager left him out of the squad for pre-season tour so he had to train with development team. He said he wanted to leave if he wasn't in the first team, so he was called to a meeting with their sporting director but didnt turn up.
sounds like he probably SHOULD have turned up, so they're right to be pissed off at him. But I admire his confidence and desire to get away and play, rather than just train and get the odd minute there.
Hope Mr Mowbray ( see that Gordon) is multi lingual, what with Spanish, French, Irish and Scotish players in our squad not to mention a smattering of English as well
That's the very reason loads of decent posters have gravitated over here.
Really hope we don't lose one of our better players as a surprise, I know it's the 'model' but the timing would be totally against everything we are trying to build upon.

Yeah the likes of Matete, Winchester, Dajaku I would expect to go. Would be a shame with Embo as I think he can still contribute and as a local lad it would be great to see him stay. Money will dictate at the end of the day though.
